Although COVID-19 vaccines are available to most Americans, one thing that’s still in short supply in this country is laughter. And that’s OK, because the last year hasn’t offered much to laugh at, but Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club in Las Vegas is looking to turn that around.
Not only does the show feature some of the funniest comedians around, Garrett appears often, and you’ll have the chance to catch him this week on April 11, along with Sam Fedele and Michael Yo, and on April 15-18, where he’ll be joined by Eddie Ifft and Heath Harmison. Since returning to the stage, Garrett has poked fun at coronavirus by performing a few jokes in a hazmat suit, and you can likely expect more jokes related to COVID. And although the intimate club has moved to MGM’s Studio A & B Ballrooms to accommodate existing restrictions, it’s still a suitable space for laughs.

The FBI arrested a Black Lives Matter activist for allegedly using over $200,000 in donations on personal expenses. In sum, Page has spent over $200,000 on personal items generated from donations received through BLMGA Facebook page with no identifiable purchase or expenditure for social or racial justice, FBI agent Matthew Desorbo said.
Sir Maejor Page, 32, was arrested Friday in Toledo, Ohio, and is facing federal wire fraud and money laundering charges for allegedly spending the money on tailored suits, a home in Ohio, and guns.
Page became involved with the Black Lives Matter movement in 2016 when he founded the Black Lives Matter of Greater Atlanta on Facebook. He used the page to solicit donations through a GoFundMe account, the FBI said.

There is more to comedian Skhumba Hlophe than making jokes, and he promises that headlining Kaya FM’s new breakfast show with radio veteran Thomas Msengana will serve as testament.
The Tembisa-born star, 39, will co-host Thomas and Skhumba in the Morning from May 3. The show airs Monday to Friday from 6am to 9am.
